Hi,
I don't find where is my mistake.
I make this super block with scicos:

I enter parameter: test. I make a mask. But now when i want to double
click on it, nothing happens.

Thank you very much for your help :)

Bonjour,
J'ai un problème sous scicos dont je ne trouve pas la source.
J'ai effectué un block avec scicos de la forme suivante:
http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/5721/pbmask.jpg
J'ai rentré le paramètre "test". Cependant quand je crée un masque et
que je double clique sur le block, rien ne se passe...
Merci beaucoup pour votre aide :)

Hello,

Which version of scilab do you use ?

Try this: click on the super bloc and then right click on it + click
on mask->remove mask
Now, double click on your super bloc.

I use scilab 5.1.1.
Ok, when you remove mask, you can modify what is in the super block.
But i try to automatise it with mask. Indeed, normally, when i double
click on a masked super bloc, i can modify parameters (here "test").

J'utilise scilab 5.1.1.

Thanks/Merci

Hi
Are you using the latest version of Scicos, Scicos 4.3? If not install
ScicosLab 4.3 (available from www.scicos.org and www.scicoslab.org) and
try again. There have been many problems with the masking operation that
has been fixed in the version 4.3. If you still have the problem, please
send your diagram ".cos" file to scicos@inria.fr and we will examine it.

With regards.

What is a mask and what is it used for?

As long as I'm asking, what is "atomic"?

Thanks

Hi
Atomic has been introduced in Scicos 4.3. It allows the conversion of a
super block into a basic Scicos block through code generation. Masking
only masks the Super Block so that it looks like a basic block but it is
not. Masking operation finds automatically (even though major
improvements have been introduced in version 4.3 there could still be
minor problems in automatic detection of parameters) the parameters of
the block. Note that for "Create Atomic" operation, the Super Block
should have no parameters coming from the outside; it has to be self
contained. This is tested by Scicos.

Thanks!

Are these features going to be documented in the next release? (When
is the next release planned?)
