Hi all
I hope you can help me settle a ongoing difference of interpretation of what would be the cumulative increase of the following five numbers.
469.6
477.6
492.8
507.1
514.5
Is it 44.9, which is the difference between the starting, and ending number, which i think it is. Or is it 44.9 /469.6 =.095613 which my friend thinks it is, my point to him is he is calculating a cumulative percentage increase not a cumulative increase. Thanks in advance.
