JSH: Failure of reason

The problem with your society is the failure of reason.

The mathematical proof I have is so short it can be given in a couple
of paragraphs and dispute can be shown to be disagreements with the
distributive property.

But you are trained that your field is immune from revolution.

You are indoctrinated with the belief that mathematicians just build on
the work that was done before, which you are told is perfect.

I have a degree in physics.

Physics students look to make some major discovery overturning what was
previously thought to be true.

The difference in training is telling.

I can give you mathematical proof, fully up to the demands of the rigor
of your society, even if it isn't exactly in the format you are
carefully and thoroughly trained in, but you can reject mathematical
proof to hold onto your core beliefs about the perfection of the
foundations.

So, you have demonstrated that you can dispute reason, and dismiss it
to hold onto a belief that has been proven false, which is trained into
you--that your "core" is perfect.

It seems to me that you yourselves are making the argument for
fundamental changes in the way math students are taught, as history
shows, the truth will eventually win.

But it looks like it'll be a long drawn out process with many of you
fighting reason--where key in the reason is mathematical proof--all the
way to the bitter end.

And you are a member of your own society tucked away in your own little
compactified dementia.

10 points for pointing out that you have gone to school, as if this were
evidence of sanity.

Yawn... Is it Hammer Time yet?

Nice to see you back James. Now could you please answer the question I asked
you almost a year ago about what is your definition of the term "proper
unit"?

There is no failure of reason, as you do not abide by it.

JSH is not at all modern. It is more in the nature of a return to an almost
Buddhist religion of indifference. JSH covers things with an artificial
gentleness, a snow of butterflies released from the head of a
prestidigitator. JSH is immobility and does not comprehend the passions. You
will call this a paradox, since JSH is manifested only in violent acts. Yes,
the reactions of individuals contaminated by *destruction* are rather
violent, but when these reactions are exhausted, annihilated by the Satanic
insistence of a continuous and progressive "What for?" what remains, what
dominates is *indifference.* But with the same note of conviction I might
maintain the contrary.

Every product of disgust capable of becoming a negation of the family is
JSH; a protest with the fists of its whole being engaged in
destructivc action:

*JSH; knowledge of all the means rejected up until now by the shamefaced sex
of comfortable compromise and good manners:

JSH; abolition of logic, which is the dance of those impotent to create:

JSH; of every social hierarchy and equation set up for the sake of values by
our valets:

JSH; every object, all objects, sentiments, obscurities, apparitions and the
precise clash of parallel lines are weapons for the fight:

JSH; abolition of memory:

JSH; abolition of archaeology:

JSH; abolition of prophets:

JSH; abolition of the future:

JSH; absolute and unquestionable faith in every god that is the immediate
product of spontaneity:

* JSH; elegant and unprejudiced leap from a harmony to the other sphere;

Freedom: JSH JSH JSH, a roaring of tense colors, and interlacing of
opposites and of all contradictions, grotesques, inconsistencies: LIFE
