| Strange sequence | 22 Jul 2009 10:54 GMT | 5 |
I am interested in studying a particular sequence using Maple, but the sequence's complexity prevents me from coding it in Maple. I will give some examples: The first term is an arbitrary number n \in N.

The CDF of the binomial distribution, P(X<=c | n and p), is a rational number, if p is a rational number (n and c are positive integers). stats[statevalf, cdcf, binomiald[n,p]](c) computes P(X<=c | n and p), but the output is a floating point number.

I seem to recall that an earlier version of Maple was capable of solving a problem such as differentiation and showing the result of each step it used to arrive at the solution. It also would, if I recall correctly, print
