I have a big size of ASCII file which is exported from ArcGIS raster. In AsCII file, the value is -9999 for no data. I want to remove this element for further calculation in scilab. Please, anybody help me? thank you.

I'm trying to solve a two-point bvp using bvode. As soon as I make the problem non-linear (ipar(1)=1), I start crashing the program. It cannot even seem to handle simple non-linear ipvs which the ode solver can handle with ease. Any suggestions?

I'm actually using MATLAB and simulink at school, but I would like to use more open software. So I'm trying to use scilab instead. I heard that scicos was somehow an equivalent of simulink but the problem is that i don't know how to get it.
