Scilab 5.0.1 Font Rendering in Graphic Windows29 Sep 2008 00:09 GMT3
I installed Scilab 5.0.1 for Windows and ran an old simulation that
generates some simple graphs in multiple graphic windows with text labels
and a couple with just text only. In all cases the fonts were rendered
poorly. Increasing the font size or font type used didn't make any
crash when playing with "ls"28 Sep 2008 11:56 GMT3
In scilab 5.0.1 on Ubuntu 8.04.1/i386, just type :
--> a=ls
--> a(1)
Anyway, it was probably not a good idea to type this :-)

"Errors often appear on Intel cards under Linux"
Comparing plotting-time scilab-4.1.2 and 5.0.124 Sep 2008 16:44 GMT8
thank you for delivering scilab 5.0.1.
I compared the time needed to plot between scilab 4.1.2 and the new
one on Windows XP SP3.
I was very astonished about the VERY slow new version.

I have compiled and linked Scilab-5.0.1 on my Mandriva 2008.0 x86-64 OS
machine.
 The scilab command launches scilab but the java the libraries are
missing. I've loaded the obvious java material from the Mandriva
plotting 3d data points23 Sep 2008 20:26 GMT1
I've not had much luck in plotting 3d data points. They are generated
from a sensor, rather than a function, and are of the form x, y, z,
with each a column vector. When I look at the scilab documentation, it
seems that the 3d plotting functions all require x and y to be of
create vector automatically filled with increasing values22 Sep 2008 19:24 GMT3
is there something like fill_vector(start,end, step)? ie [start, start

Thanks,
