How do you do the negative signs when the logit is raised? I take it my math
below is wrong?
e=2.919 and -z = -2.321
1/1+2.919-2.321

What happens if one tries to model a probability-based phenomenon with a
technique based on the assumption of additive linearity?

I have a data set that has ID number (corresponding to a student),
course, course grade, and numeric grade value as 4 columns.  One
person may have multiple rows due to multiple courses.  For example:
205     English     A       4

can somebody help me with entering data into SPSS editor . I am stuck
as I dont know how to enter paired comparison data ..

According to the SPSS manual, MEDIAN(min,max)is an  Aggregate Function
available on the Summary subcommand.
Median is not on the point and click menu.

I just ran a predesigned analysis using logistic regression. In the output
there were Block 0 and Block 1. Of course block 0 is the null model and

I'm trying to recreate an analysis that a person wrote in a much older
version of SPSS (the program was written in the late '80s/early '90s).
It gets through the first portion OK, but then it starts processing a
group of crosstabs and all heck breaks loose.  And, since I'm not an

Repeated measures.... (and Multivariate...)
But I don't see anything but Analyze > General Linear Model > Univariate...

How does one partition the interaction in GLM?  Easy enough with
MANOVA or REGRESSION equivalent.  I can see how to do simple
effects contrasts in GLM, but not partitioning of interaction.

I am using the latest version of SPSS (12.0)... I am wondering if SPSS has a
case limit (i.e., a maximum number of cases that can be inputed per
