I have 2 variables and a computed variable in the data editor. When I add new cases to the sheet, the computed variable column does not produce the desired output but merely displays a dot. what is going on ? Please kindly answer my query. Thanks.

This is so basic- but I cannot find how to select which category to use as the reference (aka baseline or contrast) group in my 6 category multinomial regressions. The program defaults to using a category that I would prefer not to use.
