I am not a statistician, not even close to it, but I have to learn SPSS. Can I come here to ask questions, even if they sound stupid? Like this one: How can I print off a list of variables so that I can have them close by when I am using cross tab etc?

I am working with a data set in SPSS. Since the data (NHANES) uses a complex multi-stage sampling frame, I will need to use SUDAAN. I have limited capabilities using SAS and no experience with SUDAAN. I do have a couple of folks who can help me if I bring my data from SPSS

During spring 2004 we upgraded from 11.5 to 12.0.1 and soon our students ran into some troubles. Most problems were related to Chart Editor and editing the graphs. Another problem was that data was suddenly lost.

I am a newbie to SPSS studend version... I can generate a crosstab (without layer) however when I ask for a bar graph - all I get are the "counts" on the Y axis. I want it to show percent but I can't figure out how to do this.
