There seems to be a major bug in spss 13. I cannot get the legend to show the marker symbols for the lines, it just shows the colour, which if I am printing in black and white is useless. Does anyone know a fix?

I have only recently been working with SPSS, and I recently updated from 11.0.1 to 12.0.2. It has some very nice new features, at least I think they're new, like MVA, and some other nice details, like the wheel on the mouse actually scrolls the data page.

Seems like everyone knows that answer to this but me.....does xsave save a datafile to memory, sort of like a recordset in VB or VBA? If not, what are it's advantages over a traditional SAVE command. Thanks for your help.
