| GLM RM Analysis of Covariance and adjusted Means | 30 Apr 2008 16:42 GMT | 1 |
I have a question about the use of ANCOVA. In a repeated measure design with three levels, (neuropsychlogical domains: memory, executive, attention) on the within subject factor and three levels on the between subject factor (Controls, Group2, Group3), i want to

| Searching all variables for a given value. | 30 Apr 2008 15:39 GMT | 2 |
IIRC, there's an easy way to search a range of variables for a given value. (in one quick command, where part of it is v1-v50, or v1,v50) something like do if any("apple" v1,v50), searching variables v1 - v50 for the string "apple"

| Syntax to flag cases with missing data | 30 Apr 2008 15:15 GMT | 3 |
This should be easy ... I'm trying to flag any cases with missing data on one or more of the variables, V1 through V20. Since the variables are all adjacent to each other, I was hoping I could use a THRU statement instead of

| RE: How to best deal with severely skewed data | 30 Apr 2008 00:55 GMT | 2 |
I would like to look at the interaction effect of 2 independent categorical variables on continuous dependent scale scores (calculated as means). The difficulty is that the data is not normally distributed. The dependent variables are very skewed towards positive

| SEM Problem with AMOS: | 28 Apr 2008 20:42 GMT | 3 |
I got a problem with my structural equation model which consists of 4 latent constructs. Three of these are factors which are responsible for a change of the 4th construct (unobserved endogenous variable). The model is identified and a minimum is achieved. My problem is that

| SEM AMOS: Input Covariance matrix as data file | 25 Apr 2008 18:35 GMT | 2 |
I have only started using SPSS AMOS and have had to get up to scratch rather quickly! As I have a lot of missing data I have decided to try and overcome this (although maybe not the most sound of methods!) by using a covariance matrix as the data file rather than using raw data.
